How To Use: Gas Oven with Electric Grill Multifunction with Convection

  • To light this burner correctly, strictly adhere to the following instructions:

    • Open the oven door fully.

    • Hold and turn the thermostat dial clockwise to the specified position (grill). By holding the dial pressed, the micro switch located behind it will create a series of sparks in the spark plug that will cause the burner to light.

    • Press the control switch for approximately 10 seconds until there is a uniform flame around the burner, to permit the heating of the thermocouple mounted on the burner to automatically keep the fl ame alight (control visually).

    • If after approximately 10 seconds the burner is not alight, stop the operation and return the control to position . Wait at least a minute before trying to light the burner again (always keeping the oven door open).

    • Once that you are sure that the burner is lit, wait a few seconds before gently closing the door.

    • Place the oven tray below the grid to catch any dripping fat.

    • When cooking is completed, turn off the burner by turning the thermostat dial clockwise to zero.

  • To light the oven burner correctly, strictly adhere to the following instructions:

    • If after approximately 10 seconds the burner does not light, stop and turn the knob to position . Wait for at least one minute before trying to light it again (always keeping the door open).

    • Once the burner is lit, close the door very carefully.

    • Once the burner is lit, turn the thermostat dial to the desired level.

    • Insert the tray at a medium height for best results.

    • When cooking is fi nished, turn off the burner by turning the thermostat dial clockwise to zero.

  • • Hold and turn the thermostat dial clockwise to the specified position (grill).

    • It is advisable to heat the grill for at least 5 minutes before introducing the food.

    • Place the food to be grilled on the suitable oven grid or in a tray with low sides. The oven grid should be placed on the highest support (depending on the size of the food to be cooked) with the tray directly below it to collect dripping fat. Depending on the type of food (e.g. red meat, fi sh, white meat, etc.), the food will need to be turned it so that both sides are exposed to the infrared rays.

    • Cooking with the grill should not exceed 30 minutes.
